Brace yourself Oxford and grab hold of your baubles as Halfway to Seventy-Five brings you a Christmas carnival like no other!
With a New Orleans twist to warm your tinselled tooshes, an evening of music, marvellous food, magic and merriment is on the cards in the beautiful surroundings of Oxford’s finest banqueting and music venue The Isis River Farmhouse. The Deadbeat Apostles headline and will bring their usual rock and roll, country, soul swagger to the festive proceedings – if you haven’t seen them live yet you’re in for a treat with Oxford’s Nightshift stating they have “a well-earned reputation as one of the best live bands in Oxford.” Also joining us will be the massive live act PAPA NUI who are set to bring their fusion of blues and country, ska and reggae and Americana to the evening’s magical mix. Top it all off with some New Orleans jazz from the Hinksey Stompers plus Halfway to Seventy-Five’s awesome festive playlist and you really are set for a night and a Halfway! A delicious 4 course Christmas feast is available on the night in the venue’s beautifully decorated (and heated!) marquee. So make the Thames your Mississippi for the evening and get ya beads and dancing shoes on as a right royal knees up is ready to be unwrapped.
