Now based in Austin, Texas, Leo Rondeau‘s musical roots lie in the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota where he was surrounded by three generations of country musicians. Combining his skill as a songwriter with a love of the uptempo side of country music, Rondeau has been described as “a country dance band with a folk singer’s heart”.
Hailed as “the English Willie Nelson” and according to Country Music People, “the best singer-songwriter in the country field that this country has ever turned out”, Ags Connolly was a guest at the first ever Halfway to Seventy-Five and has been a regular at our shows and festivals ever since.
Combining their considerable talents for a co-headlining tour of the UK and Ireland, this will be a must-see evening of the best in country music from both sides of the pond. We’re very pleased to be hosting the Oxford leg at the Isis Farmhouse on Friday 19th April. Tickets are available now, priced at just £8.
